THE MEMORIAL
The Alaska Fallen Firefighter Memorial is located in downtown Anchorage, Alaska, next to the Anchorage Fire Department Station 1; the corner of 5th and A Street. This statewide memorial is dedicated to Fire Department Emergency Responders from across Alaska who have given the ultimate sacrifice. The Memorial is managed by a committee made up of representatives of the Alaska State Firefighters Association, the Alaska Fire Chiefs Association, the Anchorage Fire Department, and the Alaska State Fire Marshal’s Office.
