Cameron C. Carter

Cameron Carter was a Firefighter/Paramedic with Central Emergency Services in Soldotna. He, like so many emergency responders was one of those that took every chance to volunteer and help out and further his skills. One December 3 of 2007, Cameron was a Paramedic on a Life Guard helicopter flight from Cordova to Anchorage. After picking up the patient in Cordova, the helicopter was returning to Anchoage. During that return flight the aircraft returned went down near Whittier in Prince William Sound. All on board the flight perished. 

 

During the 2017 September 11thFirefighter Memorial ceremony Firefighter Paramedic Carter was recognized and remembered. Placing his plaque on the wall and reminding us all that he will Never Be Forgotten were:
